Abstract

Our society is bearing a huge health cost and inappropriate dietary behaviour is a major factor. Despite the fact that we perfectly understand healthy food choices and eating patterns, the majority of the population is struggling to align these choices with personal needs and desires. The possibility to generate and offer personalised nutrition and dietary advice may become a turning point for our society to cope with the detrimental consequences of unhealthy eating patterns. While the issues are extremely complex,  the knowledge of nutrigenomics, the diagnostic capabilities and the development algorithms allow us to interpret personal data and link them to food behaviour and preferences. The development of an independent digital platform (Quisper) is aiming to make these tools and interfaces available to organisations that which to create personalised nutrition services to citizens, be it consumers or patients.

All staff from organisations on the Research Park are welcome to attend.
