Dietary Fibre in Focus: Bridging Science, Technology, and Global Health

The 9th International Conference on Dietary Fibre (DF26) will be held from 6 to 8 October 2026 in Norwich, United Kingdom. Organised by the International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) and the Quadram Institute, DF26 will convene leading researchers, industry experts, and academics under the theme “Dietary Fibre in Focus: Bridging Science, Technology, and Global Health.”

The conference will showcase the latest advances in dietary fibre research and innovation, addressing key topics including:

  • Definitions, mechanisms, and analytical approaches to dietary fibre
  • The gut-brain axis and fibre’s role in mental and metabolic health
  • Fibre-related food technologies and innovations
  • Sustainable strategies to enhance fibre intake globally

DF26 provides a unique platform for scientific exchange across disciplines such as food chemistry, biophysics, fermentation, nutrition, and health sciences.
