We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. As part of that commitment we signed up to the Athena Swan Charter and were awarded Bronze status on International Women’s Day in March 2022. Athena Swan was originally established to encourage and recognise commitment to advancing women’s careers in science, technology, engineering, maths, and medicine (STEMM). The Charter now includes addressing gender equality more broadly, not just the barriers to progression that affect women.

We have signed up to the Stonewall Diversity Champions programme as part of our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive research environment.
As a Disability Confident employer, we guarantee to offer an interview to all disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for our vacancies.
If you are an international applicant, the recruitment team can provide you with guidance on the different visa options and application processes.
