From fungal biology to gut health and future food

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Professor Alessia Buscaino’s group, investigating adaptation and interactions between the opportunistic fungal pathogen C. albicans and the gut niche. As part of the team working on this Wellcome Trust-funded project, I am specifically investigating the RNA interference pathway in C. albicans and its individual components.

Before joining the Quadram Institute, I adapted a pipeline for the discovery of novel fungal antigens in C. albicans as part of my PhD at the University of Birmingham.
