I have worked on the Norwich Research Park since 1998, during which time I had a break from lab work to raise my children.

I started at the John Innes Centre running Arabidopsis genome sequencing in the late 1990s. In the 2000s I worked in the John Innes Centre Genome lab running DNA sequencing, genotyping and TILLING services.

I returned to lab work at QIB-Extra and my current role is Sequencing Project Scientist within the Quadram Institute’s Sequencing team.
