Translational microbiome

I am an iCASE NRPDTP post-graduate student in the Narbad group (within the Gut Microbes and Health ISP). My PhD is supported by the industry partner Aviagen, I will investigate novel biomarkers of poultry intestinal health and welfare. Having obtained my undergraduate in zoology, animal health and welfare is a specific focus of my research interest.

Prior to this joining QIB I worked at Cancer Research UK Therapeutic Discovery Laboratories within the Wellcome Sanger Institute. I worked on the design and delivery of immune-oncology assays to determine target validation and disease positioning of metastasis associated genes.
