Epidemiology, genomics and antimicrobial resistance of bacteria

I am a part-time PhD student in Professor Alison Mather’s research group and full-time Biomedical Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency, working as part of the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Gastrointestinal Infections.
My research focus is on the use of comparative genomics to study the transmission and mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance in gastrointestinal pathogens.
Previously, I completed an MSc in Genomic Medicine from Queen Mary, University of London and a BSc in Biomedical Science from Coventry University.
My research interests include epidemiology, microbial genomics and antimicrobial resistance of gastrointestinal pathogens.
