I joined the Robinson group in October 2018 to investigate how α5β1-integrin and NRP2 cooperatively regulate FN-dependent migration/signalling pathways in microvascular ECs that play essential roles in angiogenic processes. I will be aiming to understand where the roles of these two receptors converge or diverge during in vitro angiogenic responses, during developmental angiogenesis, and during recovery from vascular injury.
