I Studied Microbiology and Business at the Auckland University of Technology for one year and then moved o accomplish my BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of East Anglia. My final year project was focused on the interactions of garlic and aloe vera with E.coli. I continued to study at UEA doing the MRes of Evolution and Genomics, now working on a project to develop a technique for fungal enrichment in the rare microbiome.
