Bacterial niche adaptation

I am a PhD student studying within the Langridge group as part of the Microbes, Microbiomes and Bioinformatics Doctoral Training Programme (MMB DTP). My research project focuses on the genomic epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2 in East Anglia to understand how the pandemic unfolded within our region.

Prior to moving to Quadram Institute, I graduated from the University of Kent with both a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and a MSc in Infectious Diseases.

My research interests include genomic epidemiology and microbial genomics, and how these methods can be applied to benefit public health.
