I am a PhD student studying in Professor Alison Mather’s group. My project is modelling metabolic capability and phylogeny of host and environmental niche adaptation in E. coli.
I have a B.Sc in Biomedicine from the University of East Anglia. During my undergraduate degree, I volunteered within the Food Databanks at the Quadram Institute and completed my dissertation on the analysis of E. coli and coliphage populations within the chicken gut using metagenomics and bioinformatics.
My research interests include E. coli, epidemiology, evolutionary microbiology and metabolic modelling.
