My name’s Hannah and I’m a Research Scientist in the Microbes and Food Safety research programme working on a project looking at identifying agents of infective endocarditis using clinical metagenomics.
My research activities include human sample preparation, DNA extraction, amplification and sequencing. I’m a University of Lincoln graduate, with an undergraduate in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Microbiology. I moved to Norwich in 2020, where I have worked in covid testing, as an associate practitioner for the NHS, and as a Fermentation Scientist.
