(she/her)

Athena Swan Project Co-Ordinator

Bacteriophages and Viromics

I am an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion professional with extensive experience working across higher education, research institutes and the private sector. I specialise in leading Athena Swan and wider EDI initiatives, supporting organisations to embed inclusive practices and achieve meaningful, sustainable change.

I have worked in a range of roles from HR and organisational management through to senior EDI leadership, including as Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University of East Anglia. More recently, I have supported both the Quadram Institute Bioscience and Earlham Institute as Athena Swan Co-ordinator, working with colleagues at all levels to develop strong submissions and action plans.

I am particularly interested in helping Institute leaders and staff create inclusive research environments where everyone can thrive and contribute fully. I enjoy working collaboratively, using data and insight to inform progress, and supporting teams to turn equality goals into practical, achievable outcomes.
