My role within the team at the National Collection of Yeast Cultures involves sales of yeast cultures and services to both new and existing customers. I deal with the confidential safe deposit service, plus assist with the maintenance, characterisation and quality control of the culture collection. I also help to run the NCYC commercial DNA fingerprinting service.
I have experience in both medical and food industry microbiology. I help to generate additional commercial income through liaison with customers and representation at external meetings and events such as trade fairs.
