As Business Development Manager I work to support the development of translational research at Quadram Institute Bioscience. A key part of my role is to reinforce existing relationships and establish new ones outside the Higher Education sector to increase knowledge exchange, identify opportunities for collaborative research and increase funded research from relevant external bodies. Other aspects of my role include leading on the protection of Intellectual Property created at QIB and supporting commercialisation activities.
