Lizzie has a clinical background as an intensive care nurse and is a highly experienced project manager. Lizzie joined the Quadram Institute in early 2020 as Programme Manager for the NRP Biorepository project. At the start of the pandemic she was instrumental in the work done by Quadram scientists and the NRP Biorepository on COVID genomic sequencing for COG-UK and the UK Health Security Agency.
As Clinical Liaison Manager for Quadram Institute Bioscience, Lizzie works at the interface between the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, QIB, and the UEA on projects such as the NRP Biorepository, the Cogstack AI system for interrogating clinical information, and the new £500k capital investment in a GMP-standard production facility for Faecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) for clinical and research applications.
Lizzie has a degree in Art History and in her spare time she flies vintage aircraft.
