I am a PhD student under the supervision of Dr Stephen Robinson. My research aim is to evaluate the impact of polyphenol rich diets, and manipulation of the gut microbiota on the development and progression of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). I am particularly interested in how these manipulations influence the immune response in both the primary tumour and metastatic sites, and how we can use a diet-responsive microbiota to reduce tumour growth.
