I am a BBSRC funded NRPDTP PhD student investigating the role of biofilms in the colonisation and persistence of sulphate-reducing bacteria in the gut.
Previous to this I obtained my BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Surrey. During my degree I completed a placement year at Pompeu Fabra University Barcelona, studying neuropathic pain.
