Then I moved to the UK to pursue Msc in Microbiology and Infection at the University of Birmingham. During my masters research project, I developed an interest in bioinformatics, particularly while working with the TraDIS method. Currently, my research focuses on detecting and tracking low abundance pathogens, with a special interest in using sequencing and bioinformatics tools to tackle this challenge.
