Mechanisms regulating the gut-liver axis during health and disease

I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Dr Beraza’s lab.  My project focuses on elucidating the role of non-canonical autophagy in liver function.

I obtained my PhD at the University of Cantabria (Spain), where I studied the importance of Wnt signaling pathway in osteoclasts for bone development.

In 2017, I started working in Dr. Sanchez-Fueyo’s lab at King’s College London where I developed my research about Liver Specific CAR-Tregs and increased my interest about Liver Sciences
