I received my MSc degree in 2015 in Food Science at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
In 2022, I obtained my PhD in Food Biotechnology, conducting my research at the Szent Istvan University (now: Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences) under the supervision of Dr Erika Bujna and Dr Szilard Kun.
From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, the University of Birmingham, collaborating with Dr Richard Horniblow. My research during this period focused on developing new oral-administrable live biotherapeutics capable of delivering highly viable anaerobic gut bacteria to the colon, with potential clinical applications for treating Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
From 2025, I joined the Quadram Institute as a Project Scientist to work with Prof Arjan Narbad and Dr Melinda Mayer, in collaboration with a material innovation company based in Cambridge.
