I am a PhD student studying here at the Quadram under Prof. Alison Mather. My project is (Meta)genomics of bacteria and antimicrobial resistance genes on organic, free range and conventional foods at retail.

I achieved an MSci in Genetics from Swansea university, where I developed an interest in microbial genomics, and bioinformatics.

My research interests include microbial to microbe interactions, foodborne pathogens and the spread of antimicrobial resistance genes within commensal and pathogenic bacteria.
