I am a Project Scientist in the Adriaenssens lab, where I investigate bacteriophage–bacteria interactions in Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) associated with swine disease.

My work uses transposon mutagenesis to identify host factors influencing phage susceptibility and inform the design of effective phage cocktails.

Previously, I completed an integrated Master of Biological Sciences (MBio) in Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick, graduating with 1st Class Honours. My project demonstrated that lytic bacteriophages could hitchhike on non-host bacteria travelling along fungal hyphae, providing insights into microbial movement and phage delivery in natural environments.

My research interests lie in phage biology, phage-host interactions, and the application of bacteriophages as sustainable alternatives to antibiotics in agriculture and beyond.
