I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Brazil. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the International Laboratory for Microbiome Host Epigenetics, conducting research on chromatin dynamics in the microbiome-host crosstalk through the Graduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), also in Brazil. My research is primarily focused on Immunology, with a particular emphasis on Inflammation and Microbiota-Host Interactions. I have a deep-seated interest in Epigenetics and Bioinformatics. Furthermore, I actively engage in wet lab work and hold a visiting researcher position at the Quadram Institute, where my research centers on unraveling the dynamics of gene expression and microbiota-dependent chromatin remodeling in the intestinal epithelium and liver.
