We maintain working areas following protocols, good laboratory practice and support our busy and diverse research laboratories.

Our team is involved in general housekeeping, media preparation, glassware handling, stock management, checking packages are safe for transport and providing services to underpin the research programmes and postgraduate student projects.

We also provide an essential core service support that has key Health and Safety duties, all of which are associated with legal compliance such as; fume cupboard monitoring, testing and safe waste, biological waste stream management and chemical disposal. The team organises building and laboratory inductions for new starters.
