Fellowships

We welcome applications from research scientists who have or hope to gain funded independent fellowships that will support a period of postdoctoral research based at Quadram Institute Bioscience (QIB).

Quadram Institute Bioscience (QIB) is happy to support Postdoctoral Researchers as they develop their career and research portfolio. Our laboratories and positive research culture support individual researchers through provision of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, as well as offering a variety of training and mentoring opportunities relevant to their career stage.

The first step is to identify a research area and, if possible, a potential supervisor.

The second step is to contact the QIB Fellowship Coordinator to discuss your research plans, career stage and potential funding streams.

Fellowship candidates will be expected to have (or be about to have) a PhD in a relevant subject, a strong publication record and CV, and will meet the minimum English language requirements.

To discuss your interests in undertaking a fellowship at Quadram Institute Bioscience email Professor Mark Webber, the QIB Fellowship Coordinator.
